“We come from far away, as far back as more than 300,000 years ago. We are indigenous, Phoenicians, Greeks, Iberians, Romans, Germanic, Africans, Castilians, Catalans, Majorcans and Valencians. A brief journey through our distant history, passing through the different cultures and civilisations that have left their mark on what we are today. To know where we come from in order to know where we are going”.
The documentary project “VENIM DE LLUNY” will premiere in El Verger, in the Casa de Cultura, on the 4th of November 2022 (19:00 h), with free access, and consists of:
– 1 feature-length documentary of approximately 70 minutes.
– 1 short film specific to the municipality of El Verger, about 10 minutes long (with interviews and testimonies of the people of the municipality).
The directors of the documentary, Josep Gayá and Pau Soler (Col-lectiu Mirades), have condensed in 70 minutes the history of the Marina Alta, going through the different cultures and civilizations, making an audiovisual journey through the different historical periods of our region, from prehistory to the present day.
